About 10 years ago I was on the phone to my dad and he said “Yeah it’s alright for you real estate agents. You’ve got heaps of money!”

My reply was somewhat facetious “Yeah that’s right dad. It just blows around the backyard. I get sick of it and every Sunday I rake it into a big pile and burn it otherwise it gets caught on the thorns of the roses! Silly old bastard!”……Never did I think that I would find myself in a position that this vision of my fathers would become a potential reality. However here I am in Darwin and after what I heard this week I am confident we are on the precipice of a boom that will see Economic Activity in this little town over the next 10 years which I previously only dreamt about.

I refer to the NT Major Projects Conference 2012 and below I have listed some quotes which will show you why I am feeling a tad bullish.

These stats and comments show why the economy is about to go BOOM…..This makes me a little excited! But when I think about what the potential for Real Estate means up here ….. well I get ecstatic!!

Selling Real Estate in Darwin over the next few years……The words ‘It’s easy as shelling peas’ leaps to my mind!
